Using Blueprints, you can promote the standardization of the project management practices of your organization, control and continuously improve your processes based on experience.
Hydra allows you to configure multiple Blueprints e.g for different methodologies or types of project.
From Knowledge > Blueprints > Company Blueprints > Overview you can define:
- The life cycle of managing your projects.
- Deliverables: Map the process for the development of the deliverable, set up "states" to make reporting clear and straightforward.
- Tasks: Set up Checklists, Dependencies, Inputs/Outputs, list Skills to ensure the right Resources are assigned to the Task, list Materials required.
- The default report dashboards for the projects: By having the control panels of your projects predefined, you will ensure uniformity in the information you monitor and the time it will take to generate reporting information will be vastly reduced as the PM will have this available from Project creation.
- Documents. Control which documents are available to make sure only the current version can be used.
Set up the structure of the document repository for your projects to ensure documentation is organized and easily accessible.
