If you have been assigned to a new Project as Project Manager the project will be in Draft Mode. This means the following:

• You and your team will not be able to register time
• emails (regarding assignments) will not be sent
• you are free to make any changes you need before making the project Live

When you decide the project is ready and you have planned and assigned everything you need to you can change the status of the project to Live

Go to the Project Home Page (if you are unsure how to do this try This Article)

Here click the "Change Status" Button and select Live

When you do this a pop up will allow you to perform some additional actions:

• Create Baseline - This will create a baseline for your project (based on the published schedules - simply enter a name into the box
• Publish Schedules - This will publish the schedules for you - move schedules to the selected column with a double click.
• Notify resources responsible for deliverables - This will alert any resources that are marked as responsible for a deliverable

Once a Project is complete you can come back and mark the Project As closed. This will mean that resources can no longer add time and the project is removed from the list of Live Projects.
