Sometimes a Task may require Approval.
To start creating an Approver click the green + to the right of "First Level Approvals"
Add a Name and select a User from the drop down options.
Set a deadline and a default action from the choices available (automatic approval, send reminder or notify project manager).
The Company Blueprint may have already set up an Approval (Knowledge > Blueprints > Company Blueprints > Assets > Tasks - Approvals tab).
If so, you will see details already exist but a User needs to be selected as the Approver to complete the configuration:
If a Resource selects Get Approval from the Overview tab the Approver configured on this page will receive an email to notify them.
Once Approval has been requested the view will include more information such as Health and Status:
On the top right of this screen you can edit or skip the approval process.
Skipping approval may generate an Alert.
